Longcross Garden Village will feature eight different 'Character Areas' – as illustrated here (see the Masterplan page for the locations of these).
The Grade II listed house will be restored and converted into homes. The former courtyard block will be recreated and the grounds improved.
Barrowhills Green will link the site to the existing community at Longcross. Set around a pond, this area could include a country pub as well as new homes.
HEART OF LONGCROSS
Longcross Garden Village centre will include local shops, cafés and restaurants alongside a community centre, primary school and allotments.
Contemporary homes will be set within existing woodland, specially designed to protect the established landscape and minimise tree loss.
Situated next to the village centre, New Longcross has a family focus, with a mix of housing types and a close community feel.
Utilising existing landscape features including trees and watercourses, this area will include apartments ranged around green squares and avenues.
DISCRETE BOUNDARY PLOTS
Individual homes will be built along the boundary of the site, in keeping with existing development at Longcross.
Residential development at Surrey Views will be set around the unique landscape feature of the existing vehicle drops.
