LONGCROSS – THE SITE

The Longcross Garden Village site comprises three areas: Longcross North, Longcross South and Chertsey Common.

LONGCROSS NORTH

Longcross North has been granted outline planning permission for offices and residential uses with detailed consent received for the first phase of residential development, which is now under construction.

LONGCROSS SOUTH

The former DERA site at Longcross South was established in the 1940s for military vehicle design and development. Large areas of the site are currently given over to areas of hard standing created for tank testing. As a previously developed area of land, a significant proportion is classed as brownfield.

CHERTSEY COMMON

The first phase of a new 30-hectare country park at Trumps Farm – developed in consultation with Natural England – has been delivered. Located to the east of the site, it provides an attractive alternative to Chobham Common for both new and existing residents.
